1.Egg stains

Remove egg stains with damp salt.

2.Bleaching

Lemon peel boiled with towels will bleach effectively.

3.Hair

Rinse your hair with water and add one or two spoons of vinegar in it .The hair will become softer and shine.

4.Biscuits

Biscuits can be kept for a long time by lining the tin with blotting paper or by keeping a small bag of salt in it.

5.Odours and stains

To remove objectional odours or fruit stains from hands rub with a little vinegar. Setting a small dish of vinegar in the room helps rid of cooking odours.

6.Splattering

To keep hot fat from splattering,first sprinkle a little salt in the frying pan.

7.Too much oil absorption

A teaspoon of vinegar in the oil when frying will prevent the food from absorbing too much of the oil.

8.Rice cooking

Adding a teaspoon of vinegar to the boiling water for every cup of rice being cooked will prevent the grains from sticking together and keep the rice pure white.

9.Wilting salads/greens

To perk up wilting salad greens or spinach leaves,soak them for a few minutes in chilled water to which one table spoon of vinegar has been added.Lettuce or celery will crisp quickly if placed in a pan of cold water to which a few slices of raw potatoes have been added.

10.Fresh vegetables

If fresh vegetables are wilted,pinch off the brown edges,sprinkle with cool water,wrap in a towel and refrigerate for an hour.Many vegetables can be freshened by soaking them up for an hour.Many vegetables can be freshened by soaking them for an hour in cold water to which the juice of a lemon has been added.

11.Frozen chicken

To defrost a frozen chicken ,soak in cold water that has been heavily salted.An unpleasant poultry odour can be eliminated if you wash the chicken with the juice of half a lemon then rub it with salt and lemon .

12.Frozen fish

Thaw frozen fish in milk.The milk draws out the frozen taste and provides a freshly caught taste.

13.Frozen ground beef

To defrost frozen ground beef quickly, sprinkle with the required amount of salt for cooking.

14.Frozen meat

To defrost frozen meat fast and safely, place meat in a bowl in its original wrapper or foil and cover it with cool water. Pour salt in the water and on the wrap.Cover with a lid and allow to stand for about 1 hour.
