A QUICK REFRESHING SMOOTHIE

OMG !! I can't believe it's been a year like .. I last updated you guys' kitchen in January it's crazy.... BUT WE ARE BACK and this time we are going no where


It's been a long year for me I was finalizing with my high school and I had to give in 102% which I believe I did but nevertheless Fork Gram is back to make your life behind the stove easier..




Now from all that talking am thirsty let's make a quick smoothie


This is a healthy drink made from SOUR SOP locally here in Uganda its known as "Ekitaferi" it's a rare fruit but it's well known for its over whelming health benefits


Here is the step by step recipe to this amazing drink 


 _SERVINGS_ : 2 glasses


 _INGREDIENTS_ 


•Medium sized Sour sop fruit

• 2 large Bananas

• 1 Lemon

• 2 fingers of Ginger

• 2 tbsp of sugar



 _PREPARATION_ 


• Now kick off this process by peeling the star of the show this is sour sop, peel the fruit and now we going to go in with hands


• Using your clean hands or a pair of gloves sort out the black seeds in this fruit now this is very crucial don't consume those seeds


• When you are done with that, chop the bananas, crush as much Ginger as you wish but for starters a large piece is enough


• Toss all this into the blender, [ sour sop, bananas and ginger ] add a squeeze of a half lemon and add 2 tbsps of sugar or less since the sour sop is very sweet


• Add water and blend to smooth


• Now this depends on your choice if you want a smoothie don't sieve but if you are in for something lighter sieve the juice


• That's how you make a banging SOUR SOP SMOOTHIE.

• Incase you sieve your juice you can decide to keep the residue and use it as a base for your salads
