 *GOAT FRY WITH VEGETABLES*

Where I come from ( Uganda) Goats meat is known to be the most delicious meat type ....  well guess what.... they never lied

Fork Gram today is exploring the flavours bestowed upon this delicacy by Incorporating in veggies in the recipe

Ingredients


• 1kg of Goat's meat


• 1/2 side of cabbage


• about 7 leaves of spinach or more depends on your choice


• 1 large onion bulb


• 4 large tomatoes


• 1 full garlic piece


• 2 tablespoons of salt


• 1 tablespoon of curry


Directions


• This recipe has alot of dicing and slicing so get your hands ready or you can have the help of a grater and blender


• We shall kick off with chopping the meat into cubes and place it in a saucepan, add 4 cups of water and 1/2 teaspoon of salt  and put this to a boil


• The salt will help in making the meat tender, just before the water dries up add 2 tablespoons of oil to the meat let this be on high or medium heat


• Roughly dice the onions and garlic ( you can substitute this with the powdered ginger) and add this to the meat


• Stir this and leave it covered to simmer for 2 mins, Now roughly chop the tomatoes and blend them 


• Add the blended tomatoes to the meat and add curry. Stir this for 3 mins then cover and let it simmer for 5 mins


• Now shred the spinach and cabbage into thin slices and add it to the stew stir this for about 4 mins then cover and leave this to simmer for about 5 mins on max. heat


• 5 mins later your stew is ready, serve it with some thru or any meal of your choice
